As a child, I always felt unloved. Coming into the world as an only-born twin and being sexually abused at the age of 9 – two severe <\/span>traumas with which I started out in life.<\/p>\n

In search of love<\/h3>\n

I was always looking for love. I wanted to be enough, to be the world for someone!<\/p>\n

And then there was the music. I lay between the speakers of my stereo system and soaked up everything that I was missing so much from the music. Music reminded me. It made me feel what it means to be embraced or held by a loving mother. Music gives us security, affection and confidence.<\/p>\n

And yet today I know that I, that we are all loved by life itself. Without having to do anything for it. Simply because we are here.<\/p>\n

A misunderstanding<\/h3>\n

For many years, I made music out of a misunderstanding: when I sing, I feel love. But that’s not the case. That was a misunderstanding.
Rather, because I am already secure in the full love of life, I can sing about it and express it. And when I sing, it’s a reminder of that.<\/p>\n

I want us to come into contact (again and again) with our light of life, with our own light of love. Because that is what I live for, that is why I am in this world.
